A weekend away left me in awe of the ceiling at the Palmer House. Lots of geometric ideas there!
It was very exciting to make and donate my all floral Real Trip Around the World quilt as an opportunity item for the fund raiser in June. The money goes toward the Bird Sanctuary in downtown Flat Rock. A great place to stroll in the shade. Naturally I had to make some garden hats for the presenters.
My excuse is just a busy summer in the garden, on the road and my BERNINA. The Landrum Quilt show was in June with an abundance of pretty quilts which I will now feature. It was special to sell and sign books for so many of my longtime quilt friends.
Connie Wells does it again. This time with a little scrap cat quilt. The black horizontal threads just make the overall image.
